WELCOME FROM THE MCDOWELL HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1971

Hello and thank you for visiting our website for the 55th class reunion planning committee! It's hard to believe that another five years has gone by and it's time to plan for the 55th reunion! If you attended the 50th, then you know what assuccess it was. Everyone had a great time meeting so many of the classmates and catching up. It seems the older we get the more we appreciate the comraderie along with sharing over 50 years of memories.

This time around we don't have to deal with the uncertainties of COVID19 and so we anticipate very smooth planning and you'll be able to make plans to attend without fear of concelations. For those of you who live outside of an easy commute to Erie, you'll be glad to know that the Erie airport is now being served by a new airline... Breeze Airline. This new carrier had a fleet of excellent, new aircraft and it offers direct service to Erie from a number of locations around the country. As a plus... their fares are among some of the most reasonable out there with a lot of flexability as well. So keep that in mind when making your plans!

Our online registration system will be updated shortly as soon as the locations and times are completely finalized. Preliminary contacts have been made and the planning committee should have most things set by the end of January. We'll open up registration as soon as possible. Of course we are always happy to accept your reservation over the phone or through the US Mail too. It's to everyone's advantage to register one way or another so we can give an estimate of food, drinks and crowd size to the extablishments we will be using this year.

However you get to the reunion and however you register all of us look forward to seeing you again. As we get older we continue to reach significant milestones in our lives. We've been married, been divorced, had kids, love grandkids, have had some sadness and then have those moments you wouldn't trade for the world! All of us have a story to tell... and you'll find a lot of classmates anxious to hear the tales you have to tell!
