Some Thoughts AOOut McDowell From a Foreign Viewpoint

McDowell has sever~! differences compart-d to the school ! mended before. The first
thing is that the school itself is larger and the second really impommt thing is that the Stu·
dents have a S<:hool spirit and are active within the school beside lessons even if they don't
:a.gree with many conditions at McDowelL Through that many things are becoming possi-
ble. There are several athletic school teams because everybody who has the ability wants to
be in there and the other students give them the necessary psychologic:a.l support. Many
clubs and activities can be offert-d and I think to do something for a group as a volunteer is
sometimes more important than the work you do in school because )"OU engage yourself for
ideal reasons and not only for grades. The only disadvantage of this activiry is that you can
also ger a foreign exchange student like me. But [ still think that the way you feel yourself
belonging tO your school is admirable and also is a good example for many other schools
